Computer Basics Category

Basic computer skills are important to employees in every position.  They are vital to anyone who interacts with coworkers, management, customers, and the general public utilizing various features of computer technologies.  In many organizations, your ability to advance relies on effective computer skills.  This category includes course group topics such as:

  • Desktop Publishing/Graphics

  • Introduction to Computers

  • Introduction to Databases

  • Introduction to Spreadsheets

  • Introduction to the Internet and World Wide Web

If approved by your management, these basic computer courses may be useful to help you satisfy your Agency-specific training requirements.

Reduced pricing within the Computer Basics category of courses is available from two course publishers:  the Element K Publisher and the Skillsoft Publisher. The course publisher’s name can be found on the course description screen just to the right of the phrase “Publisher.”

The bundled pricing for the Element K Publisher’s library of courses within the Computer Basics category is a fee of only $99.00 per person.  The one-time fee of $99.00 per person allows you to take any or all of the courses located within the Element K Publisher’s library of the Computer Basics category.  If you choose to enroll by the course, you will be charged the individual course fee on a per course basis (see Procedures below for enrollment form).
